At a reception in Alexandria, VA, John Albright, Vice Chair of the Missouri Community Service Commission was announced as a 2016 Outstanding Commissioner as part of America’s Service Commissions Innovation and Leadership Awards, recognizing the accomplishments and leadership of state service commission staff, commissioners, and service programs throughout the country.
“John is an active member of the commission and represents our commission well,” says Don Stamper, executive director of the Missouri Community Service Commission. “He is constantly looking for opportunities to advance and promote the commission, national service and our programs.”
John Albright has served the Missouri Community Service Commission in a variety of roles including chair of the Legislative and Education committee, committee member of the Development and Service committee, and currently serves as vice chair of the commission. In 2015, John founded and serves as the chair of the Missouri Coalition for National Service. In addition, John is a faculty member for the Corporate Institute at Points of Light and is a board member for America’s Service Commissions. He is a veteran and retired.
