Service Enterprise Hub Applications due 7/31

Points of Light seeks new applicants to serve as Hubs for the national expansion of the Service Enterprise Initiative. A Service Enterprise is an organization that fundamentally leverages volunteers and their skills throughout the organization to successfully deliver on its social mission.

Research conducted by TCC Group and Deloitte demonstrates that organizations operating as Service Enterprises outperform peer organizations on all measures of organizational capacity thereby allowing these organizations to more effectively address community needs.

Through a comprehensive assessment, training, coaching, support and certification model, selected Hubs will be equipped with the program materials and technical assistance necessary to support their efforts in transforming organizations in their service areas into Service Enterprises.

The Service Enterprise Initiative (SEI) emerged from CaliforniaVolunteers (with development of CA volunteer centers) and Reimagining Service and has since been scaled by Points of Light. Through a comprehensive research-based assessment, training, consulting and certification model, selected Hub organizations are equipped with the program materials and technical assistance necessary to suppor Service Enterprise transformations.

Currently SEI is being delivered in 15 states across the country by more than 20 volunteer centers, state service commissions and certified trainings.
