Jason Wheeler has been professionally committed to disability inclusion, youth development and leadership for the past 20 years. His experience was catalyzed by his extensive involvement in National Service programs focused on issues related to education, disability inclusion and social justice. His areas of expertise include staff development, inclusion coaching, competency assessment and achievement strategies, e-learning, curriculum development and strategic planning. Currently, Jason provides national training and remote technical assistance to nonprofit organizations on issues related to the meaningful inclusion of people with disabilities, LGBTQ youth and wounded warriors. Jason serves on the Board of Directors for the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) of Massachusetts and is an appointed Commissioner to the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth. Jason is a graduate trainee of the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program, an advanced interdisciplinary training for health and counseling professionals and families.
