On3Learn is a company, started by three national service professionals that were concerned about the loss of training and support dollars for State Commission Staff and Board Members, Programs, Members and Potential Programs. With in-person training being reduced at the same time that expectations are being increased, we saw a need to continue the support, but knew it had to be in some different ways.

So On3Learn was created with an initial focus of developing web based trainings that support compliant and high quality programming. Our main mission is to provide relevant, important, and effective web based courses that support individual learning and application, impact bottom line needs, and result in immediate and/or long term change. Our first courses that will launch in the beginning of 2014 are Prohibited Activities for staff; Prohibited Activities for members; Member Interview and Selection for staff, and AmeriCorps 101 for members. Each course is about an hour in length, interactive (not a power point that is scrolled through), and includes resources that the user can download.

The three owners, Jennifer Jefts, Amy Salinas, and Aki Slockers care deeply about the national service field and have collectively been serving and working in the field for more than 35 years as members, program staff, commission staff, and consultants. With this knowledge and experience, we know we can create useful and relevant courses that can complement what CNCS and State Commissions do.
